Spinning offers the chance to get really creative blending up your own mix of fibres to transform into art yarn. We have various wheels to try, all mesmerising to treadle as they whirl around.

Weaving is an activity you can immerse yourself in, helps aid concentration and is great for the development of fine motor skills. We offer a variety of projects  including using a peg loom, Saori loom, weaving sticks, tapestry loom, bookmark loom and bracelet loom - all giving a different weaving experience to lose yourself in.

Booking a fibre craft session


  • Sessions are two hours long and run from 1pm until 3pm
  • Monday - Friday term time, selected dates during school holidays and selected Saturdays
  • £15 per child for up to three children plus at least one carer in our shepherd's hut
  • £7.50 per child for a minimum of six children in our craft barn and at least one carer
  • Single sessions are available

Wet felting is a really fun, grounding activity, using soapy water, bubble wrap and a host of different tools to help the process along. As well as flat felt, you can also make bowls or one of our little snakes!
